Objective
Under the direction of the Agency Manager, to plan, lead, and control production and servicing of accounts so as to contribute to the continued profitable growth of the agency.
Action Steps
- Balance production to achieve a proper mix of business as outlined in the forecast.
- Promote products of carriers that the agency has identified as important.
- Follow up on leads to ensure growth of book of business.
- Obtain and follow up on information concerning underwriting, claims, and so on, as requested by the Customer Service Representative, or the Sales Center Representative.
- Keep abreast of trends and techniques, and use agency selling aids to maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry.
Authority
- Solicit business and submit applications to the Agency.
- Bind coverage within limits established by Production Manager.
- Collect premiums on behalf of the agency.
Job Charter Measurement Standards
- Produce written premium that meets or exceeds budget forecast percentage.
- Produce volume that generates average commission that will meet or exceed budget forecast percentage.
- Produce written premium in a mix established and outlined by the agency mission statement, which will assist in the generation of contingent commission.
- Control accounts'new and renewal
Adhere to established agency procedures and guidelines.
