CertiPay is seeking an Implementation Consultant to join our growing team. Could it be you?

Our Implementation team is responsible for the successful coordination and implementation of client on-onboarding. You will strategically develop our clients' skills through efficient training to ensure they are prepared to utilize CertiPay products and services.

Job duties include:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for new CertiPay clients;
  • Act as project team lead to coordinate implementation process related to external partners;
  • Research problems and demonstrate strong ability to resolve, investigate and analyze simple to complex problems;
  • Communicate effectively with client throughout the implementation process;
  • Ensure smooth transition from prior payroll vendor by following the CertiPay implementation methodology and best practices;
  • Confirm on-time delivery of each stage of the implementation life cycle;
  • Provide accurate, thorough, answers to client inquires using knowledge of CertiPay products and services, industry knowledge and experience as well as internal resources to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth;
  • Facilitate required information gathering (discovery) on all assigned implementations;
  • Review client payroll requirements/specifications to set up client's payroll;
  • Load applicable historical employee data including tax withholding, employer taxes, year-to-date wage data and the balancing function;
  • Ensure all required tax data has been provided to the CertiPay Tax Department in a timely manner;
  • Assess client's prior payroll set-up and determine appropriate mapping to CertiPay conversion tools;
  • Work with VP of Implementation to address database issues (i.e., creation, restores, moves, etc.) and to ensure that the correct database is accessible to the client;
  • Validate client set-up through auditing and pilot testing;
  • Provide training to client on CertiPay Payroll/HR technology platform;
  • Assist each client through live payroll cycles to guarantee all set-up requirements have been met and client is satisfied with results;
  • Address any outstanding issues;
  • Develop client self-sufficiency to ensure smooth transition to Client Services for client retention and satisfaction;
  • Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentially both internal and external to the organization

Qualified candidates would meet the following requirements:

  • Two years' experience working with payroll or HR systems;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll administration;
  • Basic working knowledge of accounting principles;
  • Basic working knowledge of payroll tax topics;
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and task operation;
  • Demonstrated ability with problem solving;
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects under tight deadlines;
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Depth in experience and ability using MS Excel; strong working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
